The WHO (World Health Organization) updates, in a document dated 09.07.2020, the latest findings on the infectious routes with SARS-CoV-2. Through its coordinator of the infection prevention unit, Benedetta Allegranzi, recognizes the evidence that the coronavirus remains in the air. These infectious agents are transmitted in particular through airborne droplets and aerosols.
At the beginning of the outbreak, scientists thought that the virus was mainly spread through saliva droplets or mucus, when people coughed or sneezed. However, researchers have found that the coronavirus can persist in the air longer and travel farther in smaller droplets.
From Laboratorio Control, we offer our customers the new analysis (PCR) of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in air samples. One of the objectives of these analyses is the early detection of possible outbreaks of COVID-19 in populations, by means of airborne coronavirus analysis.
With this development, from Tentamus Group, we offer a global analytical service of COVID 19, providing our customers with the analysis of this in SURFACES, WATER and AIR, thus providing powerful possibilities to determine the routes of infection and risks in relation to the new coronavirus.
