New efficacy test for veterinary disinfectants

Laboratorio Control, a reference partner of numerous companies for the analysis of biocidal products, implements a new efficacy test for disinfectants used on the skin in the veterinary industry.

The launch of this new quantitative surface efficacy test focuses on the evaluation of teat disinfectants used in the veterinary area.

With this standard, and those already offered in this phase 2.1 sector (UNE EN 1656 and UNE EN 1657) by Laboratorio Control, the analyses required for the registration of biocides used for the disinfection of teats in the veterinary area will be completed.

In addition, if required by the client, the laboratory team will design Phase 3 tests, or field tests, for this and other uses according to BPR (European Biocidal Products Regulation) criteria.
